Today we're going to be taking a look at the Aries RidgeStep running boards with custom installation kit on our 2018, F-250.Now here's what Aries steps are going to look like once we have them installed. I really like them because they're a really heavy duty option for somebody who's going to be using their truck mainly for work, or if they just really need a rugged looking step that's going to hold up.Now whether you are going to be using it for work or just using it for an easier way to get in, having that step is going to make it a lot easier to get in and out of your truck, because a lot of people have noticed that these new trucks are getting taller and taller and it's definitely a lot harder to get your foot all the way up there without having that step.Now what I think really is going to set these steps apart opposed to a lot of other running boards and steps is the fact that these are 100% made out of steel. There's not a single piece of plastic on there, so we're not going to have worry about it becoming brittle, fading over time, or cracking.What else is really nice and what I like, is that the tread here is actually stamped directly into the board itself. It's not a separate piece of plastic that we had to bolt on and we have to had to worry about replacing down the line. It's one piece and these holes here are going to allow dirt, debris, water, all of that, to run through and drain out, so we have a nice solid secure place to put our foot, and make sure we have traction.On top of that these are going to be really deep running boards. more

DeeZee Oval Tube Steps Installation - 2019 Ford F-150- Video
Hi there F-150 owners, today in our 2019 Ford F-150 we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Dee Zee's Oval Tube Steps. These tube steps are going to be six inches wide with five inch wide step pads to increase the surface area, and provide a lower step to help you get inside the vehicle. This is not only going to make it easier because you're going to have a lower step to get in, but we also have traction pads here on our step pads that have raised surfaces to keep dirt, debris, and moisture out of your vehicle as you're stepping in.And also give you some more attraction as the edges here will grip on the soft rubber of your shoes. And compared to your round bars, these are going to give you a larger surface area to step on, so it's going to be more comfortable than the round bars. You're not going to have so much pressure in a small area against your foot, and having a larger surface area to step on to is also going to provide with more traction.And I liked the matte color that they have. It kind of blends in really well with the other plastic trim that's going to be on your F-150, so it looks like it's supposed to be there from the factory. more

Westin Thrasher Running Boards with Custom Kit Installation - 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Hi there Silverado owners. Today in your 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, we're going to be taking a look at showing you how to install Westin's Thrasher Running Boards.If you're looking to give your truck a rugged heavy duty book, the Thrasher series is a great option to go with. It gives you a very large step plate. So if you are a larger person, kind of like I am with larger feet, this gives you plenty of room to step up here where you don't feel uncomfortable.I also really like the slotted openings, which provide traction by digging into your shoes. I actually prefer this over your grip tape or your rubber surfaces, because those can wear down over time, whereas something like this with a rough edge is just never going to wear down, this is going to grip for a long time to come.So you can see here as I go to step in my size 13 shoe, has plenty of surface area for me to step on and it also feels very sturdy when getting in. Some of the tube steps while they provide plenty of support, they kind of have a little bit of give to them, not so much with these steps.I also noticed that when I was installing these compared to the tube steps, lifting these up, they are significantly heavier and just feel a whole lot stronger. more

These running boards are custom designed to fit your truck and no matter which truck you have the set that's custom fit for it will go the entire length of your cab. To ensure that you get the correct step for your truck, you'll want to use our fit guide. In addition to the year, make and model, you'll also want to make sure you know the specifics such as the cab size on your truck, to ensure that you get the correct one.And you can see here compared to your tube steps, this is going to be a much more aggressive look and having recently installed it, I can tell you based on the weight and feel that these are much more heavy duty than your regular tube steps, you almost need an extra set of hands to help lift these up here. One person can't do it by themselves, but I was generally impressed with how strong and sturdy they feel.I also liked that they have a six and a half inch diameter because if you're a larger person like me and you've got a little bit bigger feet, those little three inch tube steps, they're a little bit cumbersome. more

It's going to give you a really aggressive look and just take you away from that OEM feel.The step portion of these rockers are about three inches wide, so it makes it pretty comfortable just sitting here on the driver's seat, putting my feet on and just relaxing a little bit.As you can see here, we do have a pretty cool powder-coated finish to it. It is going to differentiate from our OEM look here. A lot of the times when you get these from the factory, all your rockers would match. But to be honest, I really do like the look and finish of this rocker.So in comparing these to the OEM steps that sometimes come with these Jeeps, we have holes here. And what that's going to do, It's going to allow that water just to seep through there, a lot of the times it's just a straight plastic piece that comes out and all that water is kind of puddle up and make it a little bit more slippery. more

Today on our 2019 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Westin R5 M-Series, Wheel-to-Wheel Nerf Bars. With trucks being higher and higher off the ground nowadays, these are going to be especially useful for people with mobility issues or even kids. And they're going to help keep your seat in better condition as well, because you won't have to kind of slide on the side of it just to put your feet onto the ground. These are going to give you steps to allow you to easily get in and out of your vehicle.This is what our Nerf Bars look like when they're installed. Now there're going to be several different styles of Nerf Bars out there available for the '19 4Runner, but what's going to set these bars apart from others out there is one, they're going to be all steel. We're not going to have a plastic step pad that we may have to replace over time. You can see our steps come down here, that's going to give us a little bit easier access and egress from our vehicle where some of the other bars may be just straight across, so they're going to sit a little bit higher. more

Rampage RockGuard Retractable Nerf Bars Installation - 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video

Today we're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install, the Rampage RockGuard Nerf Bars, on our 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.Each side is going to have a release lever, and two gas struts, one on each end, that allow you to easily fold your bar up against your rocker panel, which you're going to add that protectio when you're off-roading. Then, when you're ready to use them as a nerf bar, you simply fold them down, and that allows you to easily get in and out of your vehicle.They're going to be constructed of 2" steel bars, with a black powder coat finish. It's going to resist any rust or corrosion, and it's going to add a nice, rugged look to your Jeep. Unlike some of the other ones out there, these are also going to add protection, because they're going to fold up against your rocker panels. As far as the installation goes, it's pretty straightforward. more

Rampage Xtremeline Running Boards Review- Video
Rob: Rob here at etrailer.com, and today you're gonna be taking a look at the line of Rampage Xtremeline running boards.All of our Xtremeline running boards are gonna be cap length. Since they fit a wide variety of vehicles, make sure to see etrailer's fit guide so you can get in and out of your vehicle easier, give it a little bit of protection, and look good while doing it.Also, our running boards are gonna come in two different color combinations. We're gonna have the black here, which is gonna be steel with a black powder coasted finish, and then we're also gonna have a polished stainless steel.Running boards are gonna serve a few different purposes. They're gonna help us get in and out of our vehicle easier, they're gonna help protect the side and rocker panels on the bottom, and overall, they're just gonna give our vehicle a nice, clean look.For some of us, SUVs, trucks, and Jeeps, they can be a little high to get your foot all the way in, so having those running boards is gonna make it a lot nicer to get inside or get out.Our boards are gonna be a full five inches wide, and we're gonna have this really large step pad that has some tread on it so we can make sure we have a secure footing. Now only are we gonna have one for the front, but we're also gonna have a pad for the passengers in the back as well.The tread here's gonna make sure we have that secure footing, even if it is in wet conditions where we might slip. With our boards sitting the way they do, real close to the body, it's gonna help protect that rocker panel a lot because it's not gonna be able to have anything come in between our board and the body.Since our running board sits so close to our body, it's gonna give it that really nice, sleek, streamlined look.Another thing I really like about it is that the end caps here as well as the tread pieces are paintable, so if you want, you can actually paint them to match your vehicle and have a really custom look.All of our running board kits are gonna come with a vehicle specific bracket so we can get everything bolted up. more

Today we're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the Rampage Slim-line Round Bars for our 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X.These are not only going to help you get in and out of your vehicle easier, but they're going to add a nice look to the vehicle itself.These bars give us two hoop steps that line up perfectly with our doors. This is going to allow us easier entrance and exits from our vehicle.Each step pad is going to be constructed of a slip-resistant plastic. It's going to be three inches wide with a treaded center for better traction when getting in and out of the vehicle during those icy, rainy and snowy conditions. The bars are going to be two inch steel bars with a dual stage, black powder coated textured finished that's not only going to resist rust or corrosion, but that textured finish is going to add a rugged look to the vehicle.Each bar is going to have a 350 pound max weight limit. As you can see with our factory fenders, our bars extend underneath the front and the rear fenders. more

Review of Carr Nerf Bars - Running Boards - Hoop Steps - CARR108222- Video
Today we're going to take a look at the Carr Custom Fit Side Steps. These are the hoop two style. It comes in polished aluminum, and these are going to be a seven inch step, and it does come as a pair. Now, these two steps are going to allow you to get into your truck a lot easier. They're going to mount either in the front or in the rear door position, if you have a crew cabin, or if it even has that backdoor capability.Again, this is going to be a custom fit, and the years that this is going to work for are going to be the 2015 through '18 Ford F-150, and that's going to work for the regular cab, super cab, and super crew cab. It also is going to work for the 2018 to '19 Ford F-250 and 350 Super Duty regular cab, super cab, and super duty crew cab. more

Aries AeroTread Running Boards Installation - 2016 Kia Sorento- Video
Today on our 2016 Kia Sorento we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Aries AeroTread running boards with custom installation kit. These are going to be your five-inch wide aluminum polished stainless steel boards, part #AA2051028.They're also available in black using part #AA2061028. So, here's what our running boards are going to look like once we have them installed on our Sorento. Now, these are not only going to look good, but they're going to make it a lot easier when we're getting in and out of our vehicle.Our boards are going to be five inches wide, and they're going to have a step on the top that's going to span the entire length of the board. So, no matter where we or our passengers get in and out, we'll have a secure footing.The boards themselves are going to have an aluminum construction, so they're going to be rust-proof and they'll have a rolled edge here that will come really nice, close to the body, giving it an OEM-type look.Between the board and the body here, we're going to have this rubber weather stripping. It's going to take up that unsightly gap in between, help it blend in a lot better, and give it more of a sleek appearance.Our running boards are going to have a 500-pound weight capacity, which is a lot more than most boards on the market and they are going to come with a custom bracket so we can get them installed.To install our boards, it's not going to require any kind of drilling, however we are going to have to do some minor cutting, if you have an underbody panel that goes along the edge here.And now that we've seen what our board looks like and gone over some of the features, let's show you how to get them installed.To begin our installation, we're going to want to find the three mounting points on each side. more

Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Speaker 1: Today, in our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we're gonna be installing Westin's Sure-Grip Running Boards, part number 27-6105-2135.These custom fit steps are gonna make it easier to get in and out of your Silverado. They're designed specifically to mount onto your Silverado, right into the factory holes that are located underneath.It comes with all the hardware you need to get it installed, it has a rubberized, textured pad so you don't have to worry about slipping when getting in and out of your truck. The rounded edges contour nicely to your vehicle, helping maintain that factory look. The steps are gonna measure 54 inches long and six inches wide, the step pad width is about four-and-a-half inches.You don't have to worry about rust with the aluminum construction. It has a UV coating as well to help prevent against fading of the color and cracks in the sun. We'll begin our installation here in our driver's side, you wanna remove the one that has a small hole next to it. more

We're going to have black as well as the stainless steel. The black ones are going to be made out of steel and they're going to have a powder coat finish. The polished ones are going to be made out of stainless steel and, again, have that polished look to them.Now, both of them are going to be extremely rust and corrosion resistant.The curved ends on the nerf bars are going to blend in nicely with the body, opposed to some of those that just come and abruptly stop. You're gonna have a 3" wide step to give you sure footing when entering and exiting the vehicle.
